Really god cards... i was thinking on getting one of those, but since i have a wc system ... it sucks not being able to had a water block so ... :x meh ...

But these will break World records for sure ;)
 
no backplate because it's not necessary. The 580 Lightning, heavily overclocked and under load is cooler than my 4870X2 at idle. Nothing on the back produces enough heat to justify and the 580 is much much cooler than the 480 ever was.

Aftermarket, I don't know at the moment.
 
what is msi warranty like? Uk RMA? and how many years warranty do you get on these cards because i can't see the information on the website.

are they quite at idle and load?

RMA is Netherlands afaik, 2 weeks turn around, which is pretty good. MSI normally give 2-3 years.

Correct, the MSI direct warranty service is NL based, but turn-around from receipt to dispatch is less than a week.
