I purchased from overclockers an Asus Geforce GTX 460 graphics card, unfortunetly I cant link it as it seems to have been taken off the card list now.

Just a general question about the drivers. Would I download asus drivers or nvidia drivers? Asus do provide drivers but they dont seem to be updated, the last driver was updated mid 2010.

Would nvidia drivers work with this or would it specifically need the asus drivers due to asus being in the title?

Found a link to the card on a different site, dont know if this will help any.

So just ignore the asus drivers and go for the nvidia ones?

Also it was an asus one that came on the disc, would installing over that cause any conflict or would it be better to uninstall it and then install the nvidia one?

Thanks for the quick reply

Yes ignore the drivers on the ASUS website, they're well out of date. Always use the latest Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia download section.

A 'Perform clean Install' check box is also available on the latest drivers providing you choose the "custom install" option. Tick this and it will reset all Nvidia Forceware settings to default.
