iTunes - Download all app purchases

First of all, I hate iTunes!

With that out of the way, I just reinstalled Windows and set up iTunes. I tried to sync my phone but the apps I had bought since I last synced we not transferred to the PC. iTunes then updated my iPhone and then the phone got stuck displaying the apple logo. I had to restore my phone and got it working again.

How can I download all my previous app purchases? I can see my purchase history, but it keeps repeating apps when they have been updated. Is there an easier way to download them all?

Edit: iTunes just crashed again. It really is the worst piece of software I have ever used.

iTunes has never crashed for me, it only really has trouble on very bad computers most of the time (which according to your signature, yours isn't).

I've not really had the problem you describe, and for Apple stuff, its generally better to ask here (especially for iTunes) - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=110

Cheers for the reply. Can a Mod move this to the Apple forum for me please.

I can re download the apps, I just cant remember what I bought. So I have to manually go though all the purchase history to download them. Was wondering if there was a quicker way of downloading all ym apps.

It's not a quick and easy per say, but when I had to re download all my apps, I just went into iTunes purchase history and it list's them all there, so fairly easy to browse what you want to re-download, it just doesn't have a direct link to make it extra easy to download.

i don't really like itunes althrough I have to use it for now untill I find something else that can work with my ipod :mad:

I got into the habit of backing up the .ipa files along with my music/film library. It's a great way to roll back or re-sync if something goes wrong/breaks

Looks like ill have to go through my purchase history. It all the apps I dled on my phone that I now need to dl on my pc. Lost some saves too
