New banner?

The banner was created by Gigabytes marketing team.

Wait, really? They actually put the words 'Max CPU Power' on a banner advertising their motherboard? I used to like them :p

And Von, why would supporting a divisive left wing sect make selling yourself to fund a massive corporation at expense of the possible slight embarrassment of certain forum members make it okay? Come on, think these things through :p

How about a picture of Ed Milliband holding a copy of Das Kapital? Bet you'd like dem apples, you shameless pervert.

If we're not allowed 'babes' in the Random Image Thread and we're not allowed a babe thread then OcUK shouldn't be allowed to have babes either! I for one will be boycotting all motherboards until the balance is addressed. Who's with me?!?!?!??!

meh same as every advert for make up, cars, chocolate and pretty much every thing else.

Seriously there are more revealing pictures on the tv adverts or on billboards.

I was thinking the same tbh - I couldn't use OCUK at work when looking for monitors because all the monitors have girls on them. Defo losing business over it.

Tbh i think your boss would be annoyed at you doing your shopping in work time more than it having cars/ladies on the monitors.

but if somebody walks in and sees that then they're going to catch the wrong end of the stick.

You mean like this? :eek::D

Seriously dude - don't go on a beach or visit a swimming pool or a bar at night or.....leave the house......ever...

Has no one ever seen PC component marketing before? It's always the most cheesy stuff of all time. What other industry could get away with calling something a Prolimatech Megahalem and be taken seriously.

I can't believe there is even a discussion about this :o

Edit - I'm going to go bang my head against a brick wall.

I'm still confused what the OP is on about.

Is he saying that if you're in an office other people would think you're on a porn site?

Yeah we've all seen it before and the more 'enthusiast' the Market is the more drivel you get. For some reason (and there must be a reason behind it) manufacturers think PC enthusiasts are spotty nerds who'd buy anything 'cause the advert has a pretty lady on it.
