That worked out well.
I don't think heels these days are edgy as they were back in the 90's. Austin was never a heel but was over like crazy they had to make him face.
Yeah which was good i just think it needs to happen again now. Out of interest who do you enjoy/like/rate atm for wwe? or has done well last couple years?
Orton been best one they had in awhile imo great heel and is good in the ring to watch plays his character very well. Morrison is getting better and his style of wrestling in the ring is good and i can sense he might get a big push soon (excluding his current crap match at WM)

to be honest it was hogan outselling, as part of the NWO, IICR he in 97 beat out everyone else in the US, but 98 and 99 were austin and 00 was the rock.

very true, it was JUST PPVs, which i thought was also great, never over expose the wrestlers and MAKE people pay to watch them. but still to hold it over 7 years, according to wiki 63-71 and then 73-77 is something else. and according to wiki the most headlined wrester in madison square guarden histroy with 187 of them being sellouts. its not like he defended the title once a year

Hard to say. There isn't really anyone I like in wwe that is current. I guess HHH/Taker are the guys in wwe that I enjoy watching the most.
Out of the current crop, I'd rate guys like Del Rio, Punk, Sheamus, Drew, Dibiase, Cody, Miz to be the guys that will lead the way for the next generation.
Cena spent time injured though
He was injured in October 07, came back for Rumble 08
Won the Rumble, was in a title match at No Way Out, was in the title match at WM (his only loss at WM ever)
He was then scheduled for the World Heavyweight match at Unforgiven, but was injured for 2 months.
On his return at SS he won the WHC and held it from October until Feb 09, and then again wont the title at WM.
So in the time he didn't hold the WWE championship, he was injured and also held the WHC twice ...

Cena and Miz don't put on exciting matches though, so basically the crowd will be bored right up to the point the Rock does something

Its really weird. Cena has been facing established performers at mania. Miz hasn't really proved he can main event. He hasn't done anything that gives him that spot...yet. Probably why they need to shoe horn the rock into match.

The Taker vs HHH match is meant to be "soft" according to some reports. Sounds like Taker is still injured then. Who knows, they might improvise and throw caution to the wind.
Also several the matches have had to be trimmed as there was too much wrestling for Vince's liking.
