What do you think is a waste of time?

for me it's a few things

Facebook - waste so much time reading mindless drivel
Ribbed condoms - it's My pleasure I'm concerned about not hers :p

what else do you think is a waste of time?

The internet in general :)

computer games.

I've wasted far too much time on each of these, time I should have spent doing better things.

Twitter. Arguing with intolerant people. Sitting in Traffic. Changing the Electoral System. Watching Soap Operas. Dealing with the Local Council.........ad infinitum.

Facebook, Twitter, Mybook, yourface.... anything with book, face or twit in the title really. I hate them all with a passion.

Like you said, mindless dribble. Why would I want people knowing what I'm upto every second of the day, or what I'm thinking. I don't want them to know and I certainly don't care what everyone got up to at the weekend. If anyone is close enough to me I'll see them in person and they can tell me themselves without exploiting there whole life to the world wide web. Not to mention it's full of perverts trying to meet up with young girls.

Apart from that... erm... Those gambling shows at 3am on channel 5. It's really just a big con to rob drunk people!

Twitter has very valid uses. It's all about who you follow. I've removed those friends that talk crap, and kept those friends, institutions and bands whose news and opinions interest me.
 
I'm not really sure why people dislike facebook, brilliant website. I'll usually have a tab of it open that automatically refreshes. Today, went on facebook chat for a little bit and spoke to my cousin about her travels she got back from, had a look at a few photos of my friends from a concert they went to, arranged lunch with a coursemate, and got in quick to bagsy padlock a country for a cheese and wine night a few of my mates are having.

I've no idea why people think everyone obsesses over it or update it constantly or look at it all day. It's genius!
