Hi guys,

I've got the Augmented Edition pre-ordered for £38 with 2 bonus packs - Explosive and Sniper. I've just noticed that the standard version at Zavvi comes with the Explosive bonus pack for £26. So essentially I'm paying £12 for the other bonus pack (plus the making of DVD etc). I'm now considering whether the Augmented version is worth the extra £££s.

Is there a pre-order version that comes with the Sniper bonus pack, as I'd rather this than the Explosive pack ...?

Isn't this one done by Square Enix?

The same people who did such a sterling job on Final Fantasy 14 :D

Oh please how is there any connection at all to an MMO? That's as bad as the people getting genuinely worried about the future of Valve because EA do their retail distribution...

Also if you looked at the development of FF14 you'll actually see that thea large part of the work was farmed out to a Chinese company working on behalf of Sqaure Enix, although it does show that SE really couldn't be assed with 14! And to show that they realise that FF14's quality was bad, they gave the whoel playerbase an unlimited trial while they fix the game with a new development director and team...

And aren't SE just publishing Deus Ex? Yup I'm right Eidos Montreal are the developers.

Nice to see people taking 30 secs to google to back up there complete fallacies portrayed as truths...

its still likely to be as much of a turd as the mmo was... look how far back the release date was pushed.

alarm bells not ringing?

Not really after the recent press play throughs and it getting nearly universal praise from everyone who has played it...

maybe you should look why it eas pushed back before beeing sarcastic...

anyone would think some of you worked on the game

I know why it was pushed back, but I fail to see how it's going to result in the released game being worse for it. You think they've just been sitting on it since the delay was announced or something?

Clearly not keeping up to speed with this game. Every website and mag has praised it and have not been that far off calling it a game of the year contender! :D

maybe you should keep up to speed with how many crap over hyped games get 9-10/10 then they come out and are crap..

metacritics page for blackops is good.

mainly 100/100 from magazines and websites then you look at the user reviews... 6-7's lol

yes but there have been play throughs by fans of the series and all good reports. I bet you actually want it to be average just to prove your point. If its half as good as the original ill be happy as its maybe my fav game of all time

every game and mag that depends solely on prerelease previews and review copies praises game shocker.

they do bad reviews they don't get large ad campaigns or review copies before release, they don't get subscribers they go bust.

for example spore 98% in nearly every mag/website before release even with the slating it got in post release reviews (those that have to buy the game after release but as such don't have to worry about pleasing publishers) has a rating of 84 (before release it was much much higher) user rating 4.6/10....

when %73 is considered the bottom end of the review scale you realise just how **** a score of 80% is.
