Justice, the American way.

I favour the american system to be honest. Try him as a war criminal for sure. How can you categorise his crime as a civilian matter? 9/11 was essentially an act of war. Its hardly a guy going into a bank and shooting everyone which would be a civil issue.

Give the guy the injection and end his life already. Probably costing the tax payer too much as it is.

If it is a war crime there is a court for that.

You, amongst other assume he is guilty.

I'm sure you mean "if he's guilty" - no?

You can also argue about the definition of wars - usually between two sovereign nations, that doesn't appear to be the case here. It's an act of terrorism unquestionably but equally no-one tends to accuse Timothy McVeigh of an act of war.

There are still some in florida that have been on death row since 1985.
10 years of waiting is nothing.

I'm hoping that's not an argument that it's ok to wait that length of time for an appeal?

You are presuming his is guilty, but is isn't a kangaroo court, yes?

I said IF he was found guilty. So please stop posting things I have not said :)
And again the trail has not started so no one knows lets wait and see.

you have to remember these people would quite happily blow themselfs to kingdom come and take everyone you love with them, also these peoples version of JUSTICE is to bury a woman to the neck and throw stones at her till she dies.its people like you that would allow Sharia Law to become common place in the UK

Lol? So 'their' version of justice is apparently abhorrent, so we shouldn't give them a fair trial? Cretin much?

It's hypocritical, ignorant, stupid people like you that ruin this country and make us targets for hate.

i dont want to get into a slanging match but i have seen what these people do to enforce there laws first hand so as far as im concernd they are getting what they deserve

If the guy is found guilty I wonder what the punishment will be the electric chair or injection.
I think it's good that the trial is not going to be done in the civilian courts.

Why is it a good thing that the trial is done in private and the public never finds out what evidence there is against him?

I'm not an inside job consiracy theorist but there are a lot of details that don't make any sense about the entire affair especcially when used as justification for invading Afghanistan

there was justification for invading Afghanistan there was no justification for invading iraq

Maybe they aren't the same people?

And why not wait to see if they are guilty first?

Oh hang on, wasting my time aren't I?

al-Qaeda were under the protection of the taliban in the mountans of Afghanistan thats why it was justified if it was not justified we would not have got UN backing to invade Afghanistan (which the USA and the UK didnt have to invade iraq ,yes our intelligence services have said that 75% of the terrorist threats to this country originate in Pakistan that was from 2009 onwards we went into Afghanistan in 2001.
