This is directed entirely at every single poster that I have seen tonight in the 5970 thread. many of which I have dealt with on a personal basis through the customer support forums and at times through private channels whilst well outside of working hours.

A lot of you are forgetting the forum rules.
A lot of you have overstepped the mark and bans have been handed out accordingly.

Whilst RMA discussion is welcomed in the forums, you are ALL aware of the customer support section and should guide any members there so that they can be helped by senior staff.

RMA discussion gets out of hand and it is easy to get carried away.
"This happened to me"
"This competitor is different because..."

Whilst the forums are a helpful way to get answers you need, its not always the most constructive.

The fact is, this is OcUK forums. If you have an issue or a grievance then there are numerous, legitimate support channels available to you.

OcUK will never allow these forums to be used by those who would seek to tarnish our name, no matter how justified they feel their circumstances are. Posts of an offending nature slagging off OcUK, demoralising or demeaning the company name, complaints about bad service, etc. will not be tolerated.

I thought that RMA thread was a bit large when I was mooching through new posts.

Didn't actually care to look in it til you mentioned though.

Nothing like sitting down to some hardware drama in the evening.

Oh, and a quick question that I've always wondered about. What is the difference between banned and permabanned? I'm guessing banned is like a long suspension?
 
RJK - I have great respect for you and the team and put a LOT of business your way.. I would like to know for my own peace of mind that the op was sorted out..... I hardly ever RMA and have never had a prob but I would like to think that there is a happy ending to the story - would you mind letting us know.

Situation is not resolved yet, Im sure the OP will post once we have got it sorted out.
