As a novelty item for luls I'd have gotten one just to reply to your question but at over £25 that will be used maybe once.... do not want!

Yeah it is pricey just for lols, which is why i've yet to bother. I dont see why they can't include every different sound in one unit, and a suitable switch - it's only data afterall. That'd make it worth buying.

It's really simple in principle. When I worked for a company using anti-sound for noise control in car cabins right back in 1992 we discussed using the same technology to do this. Back then the computers were 486s though, so hardware limitations stopped it. ARMs etc are more than powerful enough nowadays to do the processing (especially as I suspect that this is little more than phase shifting), so the only new bit is the bluetooth link.


I kinda like the noise of my four cylinders though, so I'll give it a miss.
