I had it in HD last night for free and I watched about 10 mins then went to bed, I just can't watch wrestling at all anymore.

Can't believe Undertaker is still around though, I use to watch wrestling when he was fighting against the likes of Hitman, Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan etc. :p For some reason I find this current brand of wrestling very off putting, I remember when the Undertaker was all mysterious, he'd come out with his face covered in a long black coat, with Paul Bearer was it? lol.
 
Wrestlemania 28 The Rock v John Cena is on!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing how they build this over the coming year.
 
Triple H certainly looked quite concerned for the Undertaker when he collapsed on his knees outside the ring after their match. And it was if the Referee stopped/reminded him from breaking character. :p

Apart from their match which was amazing and quite cringing in the sense of the many injury-prone spot-fests, I will echo many others above, that this Wrestlemania was extremely disappointing.

The quality of the WWE really has gone downhill, and funnily enough, ever since I stopped keeping up with it since sometime after WM20. Back then it was awesome, now, I just can't seem to get on with it.
 
Next years mania can't suck as hard as 27. Thats for sure. Little weird to announce a match for april 1 2012 on april 4 2011 but whatever, its different. Now its just the wait. Long wait. Wonder how they will keep our interest? or just forgot about it untill it gets closer?

Kinda spoils any chance Cena has of holding a title going into mania since we already know his match. Good thing I guess.

I guess thats it from the rock, he is now off to promote his new movie.

I just hope they announce Takers match for mania 28 soon as well and not 3-4 weeks before like they did with HHH. If 20-0 is his last match, it needs months of build up or just to be announced 6-8 months before Mania.

What does make it interesting to me at least is the fact they put the Corre into the equation for god knows what reason tbh! They just got squashed in an 8 man tag match and now they get their candy asses handed to them also...seems to make no sense but not much in the WWE does these days. :p

Will be interesting to see how this builds throughout the year, surely the Rock must become a fixture on the roster now in some form?

You lost me when you mentioned TNA. TNA is garbage... more so than wwe. Its becoming a retirement home like wcw was. Its a shame because they have some really good talent.

I imagine Rock will cause Cena the title again, maybe at summerslam. Make a few run ins here and there just to remind us of their match. Theres no way thats the last of the rock and cena in the ring.
 
Rock will make the odd appearance here and there just to keep the interest in the match there, but I doubt he'll wrestle before then
 
If he wrestles before then, i think itll take part of the novelty off. only thing im worries about is can they keep the momentum going?

liked the stone cold hhh segment. but no matter how hard they try i personally will never count hhh as part of rock /scsa.

great tag team match though on RAW. (cody/punk vs rey/rko, not the other one)
 
Yeah I think the best match at Wrestlemania was Cody v Rey.
Pitty the rest of it sucked big time, shame because I consider Raw to be quite entertaining most weeks.
Maybe to much expectation for Wrestlemaina.
 
Anyone thinking from what we seen on RAW last night we may even see Stone Cold in one more match next year at Mania too?

I have to say, since he's been back the guy looks in some awesome shape, yes because he's hosting tough enough but his short stint in the ring with Riley last night the guy clearly hasn't missed a beat in terms of in-ring it has to be said.
 
I saw it last night. It was surprisingly good actually. While I don't think any of them really has what it takes it's interesting seeing how one does learn the ropes so to speak.

I was shocked at how many couldn't run the ropes for the required 3 minutes, considering how fit most of them look. Endurance and stamina play such an important role you wouldn't understand until you got in there. :)
 
So ... WWE has one year to make Cena a credible contender in the eyes of the People for his match vs the Rock
(ie so that should he win it does not look like he has been shoved down our throats once again)


Is that doable? Not sure, he gets huge boos from the crowd .. it's funny how las tnight you can hear some kids try the "Cena" chants on RAW, only to be drowned out by the anti-Cena chants.

Miz gets a better reaction than Cena!



And I still think Backlash should be the next PPV and not Extreme Rules :(

Running the ropes at full speed for 3 minutes isn't an easy task trust me I have run the ropes in the past many times.

A lot of what is in the show is pointless and over the top it's trying to show it's really hard to do what they do but in reality you don't have to be in super great shape places like the wwe will pick you for mic/look skills now also if you ah wwe the matches are very slow paced with bursts.

That Wrestlemania was complete Garbage and it really shows how desperate they are to have The Rock sign on for next years to job to Cena already.

Robert1986 you clearly haven't watched TNA it's a far better Wrestling product not boring scripted matches/promos they do actually wrestle good matches.

I wasn't implying it was. But for those that already had experience I was a little surprised. But as you say, there isn't ever going to be a match where you're doing that for so long uninterrupted so it's a little unfair to judge anything on it.

I have always said they put on good matches because the talent is there. I also like the backstage stuff more with the shaky camera. Its the fact guys that should no longer be in wrestling are on that brand. Its pathetic how they are clutching onto these guys for ratings instead of believing in their own talent. I actually kept up with TNA right up before Hogan came and changed it all. I really enjoyed what they were doing between 2003-2009.

and Sting vs Jeff pretty much sums up TNA.

Watched it on justintv. Austin was hilarious in that show. Loved how mean he was to those three at the end. That was great. I never knew he actually pooped himself during a match.

Has anyone tried to get Wrestlemania tickets before? How hard is it? Can you get packages that include flights etc?

Strongly considering getting tickets for next years Mania to be there live for Rock/Cena
