Few questions about HAF-X.

Love my ATCS840 it cools very well but I did have to reduce the volts on the top 2 fans from 12v to 7v and replace the rear exhaust now the only thing I can hear is the HD working away.

Hey all i need some help here basically i want the extra 200mm top fan but where can i get it? the exact same one as the current in the case seems i want but on Cooler Master website it has a red led one which is different i guess?

Any of you got extra fans in yours? if so what did you go with?

One more thing what's a good fan controller that is easy to install for it?

Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply, was considering that one to be honest but need to read more about it.

What fan do i get to match the top one currently installed? or do i just get 2xred led 200mm megaflows from Cooler Master and use them?

Also lastly are the dust filters easy to clean? the 902's are a pain to do as you got to remove both panels and push out hd cage.:(

Ordering the case very soon so would appreciate some feedback on this please.:)

Someone please answer the above....especially about the dust filters as it's really important for me and i wish to order the case soon so i need to know this.(lot of you have the case so please answer :p)

Thanks.:)

Its a very good case but I found it an issue finding 200mm case fans for the top 2 ended up getting the 2xred led 200mm megaflows from Cooler Master can't fault em got them running through a fan controller at 600rpm and are pretty quite.

ive got my case now and got it all up and running.

went from a corsair 800d to the haf-x and i should have done the change a long time ago.

the haf-x is soooo quiet, got a fan controller set to auto and the 3x200mm fans are spinng at 400rpm and i cant hear a thing.

the hard drive in the 800d was noisy but in the haf it's silent.

i cant believe how good this case is.

i know the look's arnt that great but with its awesome cooling i can handle the look's.

it sits under my desk so i can only see the front.

The HAF X is a superior case for air cooling compared to any Corsair case.

The HAF X offers the best in cooling performance.

very true lee,but on another note,it's only people's word that it is good at air cooling but until you actually get one for yourself you dont realise just how good the haf-x is.

best case ive owned so far (ive said this about all my case's :)) and will probably keep this for quite a while now.

actually it's the first coolermaster case ive owned and very surprised at how good it's made.

i thought my antec p190 was well made and think it's on par with the haf-x.

The only down fall with the HAF range is that the case outside can collect dust in the nooks and crannys in a dusty room. But keeping it clean isn't too hard.

One quick thing, i know you mentioned a fan controller above but that seems to have a lot of wiring? is there any easier to set up ones for about £30-50?

Thanks for comments again, i think i'll get 2 Megaflows fitted on the top.

Acemodder why does Ocuk not stock these fans?:(

It will beat the 1200 hands down can say that without ever having a HAF X. I went from a 1200 to a HAF 932 and the cooling was so much better in the CM case and the HAF X is just a better and updated version of the 932.
