hi all,

just looked at the temps on my server and apparently they are around 10C and a low of 4C

as you can see in the screenie, all the tools ive used to check report around the same temperature :/ and bearing in mind it is one of the hottest days of the year today and its sitting on top of two ancient xeon servers which are busy burning a whole in the wall behind.... :p i cant see how this possible tbh..... :o

cheers

There has been an inversion of reality at that exact spot in space and time. Do not attempt to fix this as you'll cause it to implode and start a black hole of swirly death that will swallow the planet up!!

I really wish I could see your picture. I'm at work and stuff like image shack etc are all blocked, only images I can see are the ones hosted on the site I'm viewing or linked from someones hosting package.

ah rite yeh fairs :/ basically its just speedfan, coretemp, hwmonitor and speccy showing that 4 cores of my athlon II x4 645 are at about 8C :L which cant be right as the ambient today must be at least 15C

Very weird indeed. Wouldn't have thought that would have actually been possible?

thats exactly what i was thinking, the heatsink feels warm to the touch,

the mobo temp is interesting too, the northbridge is tepid, there is no cooling for the VRM's whatsoever, and i just burnt my finger on the southbridge heatsink :(

think your temp sensors might be dead. could be something to do with the fact that your mobo is burning hot. :/

That's pretty funny. Nicely put.

@OP, software readings of temperatures are glorified guesswork. If you touch it and it burns you, it's probably too hot. If you touch the heatsink and it's warm, no worries. Computers are remarkably tolerant of temperatures.
