About to actualy buy this card, but i cant seem to find how long it is anywere doubt it'd be a problem tho as its for a new PC build i could just build around it..

anyways i read somewere its like 11.3" long but cant seem to find it anywere for the Gigabyte Non reference design. if anyone could shed some light on it it'd be much appreciated.

and also does the Promo code "giga480oc" still work?

thanks again

Welcome to the forums!

Exactly the same length as a reference 6970 (11inches IIRC).
About the voucher code, just try it to see if it works. The card is very good value for money.
Also, what PSU do you have (including make) and what is the rest of your system spec?

Btw rekon if i decided to go SLI with the GTX 480 the 850W would have no problem? as i think two on full load use 650w was looking at a graph today during college.

An 850w psu would be ok for sli'd 480's, but i wouldnt reccomend overclocking the system to much, or running stressful apps such as furmark. With a pair of 470's on an 850w corsair, my rig was drawing over 740w, normal gaming uses 530w ono.

ah very please to hear, youve been a wonderful help Cleeecooo

no problem.
You may also want to look into Silverstone PSU's as they normally use Seasonic parts and are fairly cheap.
I got my 1kw silver rated modular PSU for £150
850/900w are around the £100 region

Thanks again

was just looking at the ASUS P8P67 as i said id use as my Mobo.. but why dont i just get the MicroATX version? it'd save me about £50 through **** also get free delivery from them as im an AVForum member.

the diffrence of Matx and ATX is just the width and ATX usualy have more Expansion slots right? sorry about that dont know much about mobos

Please do not mention competitors.

ATX has more space.
Basically just a larger board and it has more expansion slots allowing greater upgrade-ability.
MATX's are TINY!

Also, you're not allowed to use competitor names. I would get the PSU from there as they sell Silverstones whilst OcUK dont :(

ah ok, well thanks again Cleeecooo much appreciated :)

You both need to go and edit you posts and *** out that name before mods get to it :)

Hi guys,

I thought I would attempt a slight hijack.

Please could someone recommend a PSU to run these in SLI, I am thinking of future upgrade ability.

Cheers
