Rough FPS estimate for me please

Hi guys,

Roughly speaking what fps average would you expect to get at 1920 x 1080 from the following components:

i3 530 @ 4.2GHz
4GB RAM PC12800
nvidia 470 @ stock
Samsung F3 1TB


Only game i'm interested in your thoughts on is : Crysis 1

Anyone with this spec played Crysis at that res? What fps you get?

What settings will you want to play at? Will you be playing with AA on? Try the anandtech benchmark site, gives a figure for the performance of a variety of hardware on a number of different tests.

Ah sorry yes - medium settings no anti alias at all.

Will it run ok ?

A 470 on medium with no aa will be fine, easily playable.

Here is benchmarks from crysis, different resolutions, but all ran on very high, averaging around 30 fps, so on medium with no aa it will blitz crysis no problem.

It's fair to assume that you'll be GPU, rather than CPU, limited, as Crysis has always been a GPU hog more than anything. That i3 should be fine.

Tomshardware quotes 28.95 FPS w/o AA on the benchmark tool in Crysis at your res, but I'm assuming that is equivalent to higher quality than medium.

Anandtech only gives FPS for Warhead, which is a lot less demanding than the original.

should be at least 40fps.. i get that with a 460. higher in most places, perfectly fine to play through tho.. just finished warhead aswell and no slowdown on either game
