Cheapest place to get a Samsung Galaxy S?

To cut a long story short, my girlfriend dropped my Galaxy S and cracked the screen on it. I tried to claim through the insurance on my mums RBS Gold account but they got out of paying through some absolute ******** excuse saying I wasn't registered as the user of the phone.

Anyway, that aside, my girlfriend wants to buy me the phone again, just wondering if anyone knows the cheapest place to get hold of a Samsung Galaxy S Sim free, or on PAYG so I can whack my Orange sim in it!
 
I made a thread on here once about a company that repaired my gf's SGS and they were first class. I can't remember the name of them though so I'll do a wee search for them in the morning.
 
It's definately the screen that is fudged because you could see the actual LCD had cracked and the colours were all over the shop!

Be interested to see how much a repair would be. Anyone know of anywere good?
 
Hmmm I just gave them a call but they quoted £120 for a screen fault to be fixed.

How did the guy in that thread get it done for free does anyone know? Its hardly classed as warranty work when you drop your phone.

I managed to get the phone repaired for free as the screen wasn't cracked but had started to develop some kind of screen smudging due to the phone over heating. They replace everything with OEM gear and will have your phone back to you within 48 hours of them receiving it. I'd say go for it. You could try and tell them that the screen cracked due to the phone getting very very hot when on charge (mine was scorching hot). Either way you'll get your phone back in first class condition with not only the screen replaced but the surrounding silver edging as well :cool:
