Can we make manifestos legally binding?

You couldn't make it up.

I'm sure however that "lessons will be learned" but no-one will actually get the sack for that.

Who thet running agaisnt? labour?:)

:D

It's not who they are running against, but running from!!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-12998918

Their own Glaswegian constinuents!

How do Labour propose to fight 'Tory Cuts', yes that is right with Scottish Labour Cuts of their own. When confronted, they tuck tail and run.

A morally bankrupt unfit bunch of charlitons. Highly amusing though. :)

Haha, brilliant. They'd get my vote if it was legally binding.

Hahaha, why'd he run into Subway?

Such wonderful economic understanding, although I agree that Labour have no chance now.

For the most part, it is things like that (and historical voting) that determines how people vote. People generally don't care about billion pound budgets. They care that they have to pay £20 each week to get their drugs.

I'm in Glasgow North East, which is as safe as you get for Labour. Unfortunately.

Generational politics.

Although I think that is starting to change now, polls have indicated a shift in support of at least leaders if not parties.

Glasgow will always be home to Labour, but floating voters are being driven away from their inneptude and lack of originallity. Even hard core Labour supporters have switched this election.

Their power remains with pestering old biddies in the East end of Glasgow and harking back to Thatcher (it took less than 45 seconds for Thatcher to be mentioned at the hilarious manifeso launch yesterday for example).

Negativity, not progression.

I have no personal vendetta against the party as all governments require a good opposition, but they fail in power and in opposition - as they proudly proclaim in their own manifesto ;)

Agreed.

I posted your link on my Facebook page to try and wind up my blinkered Labour supporting friends but they aren't biting. :(

They won't bite because it's religion near enough in certain areas.

I'd be glad if they didn't return to any parliament for a decade, two even better.

Hahaha, that is why they call him Elmer Fudd - always missing the mark. His face and glance to his minder at the very end of the video says it all really, at least Annabel had the balls about her to stand and press her points to the group.

Not run away into a shop like a silly little school girl to try to hide from them, although that I feel sums Labour up these days. Stolen policies and broken promises, lies and thiefs.

Have you watched any of the debates?

Or the spelling mistakes in the leaflets?

It must be depressing in their campaign office. Hah. :D

Have you watched any of the debates?

Yeah, I watched the first debate. It didn't reveal much we didn't already know though, did it?

Annabel is likeable but her party isn't. Tavish is a bit anonymous and just doesn't have the sort of forceful personality needed to stop the Lib Dems haemorrhaging votes. Gray is a walking policy and personality vacuum. And Salmond, like him or loathe him, is undeniably the best performer Scottish politics, the others just aren't in the same class.

Satellite tracking for sex offenders. WTF?!

You couldnt make that bull**** up either. Welcome to 1984, it has arrived, even if a few years late.

Still, I suppose you cant expect anything more than hairbrained schemes from Labour.

Not really, no. He looked very unconfortable, gasping for a fag no doubt, and dodging questions and negativity doesn't have its place in politics.

Annabel has good qualities I just obviously dissagree with her when it comes to disenguinous political lines. She has helped deliver a significant portion of the successful policies here so that has to be congratulated.

Unlike Labour and Grey who voted down everything in sight, regardless of the benefit or improvement, in a mindless anti SNP move at any cost. Look how that has backfired now. If there are serious minds still left in the Labour party, they need to revolt and take control now.

Mr Tavish "1%" Scott. Haha, I feel so sorry for him but that is the lib dems wiped off the map now. He would be far better standing Independently.

What good is it for him when senior Lib Dems are saying Salmond is the man for the job?

Elmer Fudd - "We will end youth unemployment by the end of the decade"

:D

How will you afford that??

"We don't know yet".

Elmer Fudd - "We will jail all knife offenders"

How will you afford that knee jerk reaction when knife crime is down, and violent crime is also down??

"Ask us later".
