No LED's and no fans?!

Hey guys got my new pc yesterday and all has been fine... until now! Little over 24 hours has passed since I got my hands on my new system and now I have no LED's and no fans working The heat sink is still spinning thank god, but I can't see this system going much distance unless I get some cooling going on again! Any idea how these can randomly cut out or shall I just give a mothful to the guy I brought it off tommorow over the phone?

Is the PSU modular? If so, its possible one of the cables has come loose and the fans/LEDs are plugged in to it.

No idea, but it's a Powercool 850watt 80 plus rateted psu!

it does sound like you have a faulty molex/power connection, fiddle with them all a little and see if the led and fans come back on.

Powercool is not a good brand of PSU with what looks to be likely to be a fake 80 Plus badge.

Does not compute. Why buy a PC advertised as brand new off ebay instead off from OCUK, or simply building one yourself?

what are the fans plugged in to? the motherboard or the psu?

The psu as far as I can tell, but can't see much without pulling the psu out as the cables go behind it!

First, if he lives down the road go and knock on his door and tell him to fix it.

Second, that's a crap power supply.

Third, I think you're really trying to get suspended. That's the second time you've mentioned a competitor. From the FAQ:

Yep everything else is absolutely fine! Gonna give him a ring in a bit as im pretty sure I have found the dodgy molex connection! The pins don't even go into the female connection properly as the 4 wires haven't been secured to the male properly so they just push out
