Nice find, they had in the gym some sort of hot rod program on pick tv.

Anyway some guy was trimming the car, and with his other had gnawing on a bunch of these in his pockets.

Thought it was rather amusing.

With getting a costco card, im assuming it's trade only?

Not only trade, I am eligible for a card through my work, I think a lot of large companies also do the same (pretty sure the Wife used to get it through Vodafone for example).

If you can visit one they have a membership desk, you will probably find that most professions are also on the 'list'.

Ah yes of course i forget that self employed folk are also eligible.

I work for a local company so not much chance for yours truly, i did manage to have a nose through a store unnoticed once.

Fantastic array of bits and bobs.

Was talking about this yesterday, I thought anyone could just go and join. Apparently my dad did when he was self employed and only could then because of being SE.

love costco too, yeah you ahve to be carefull what you buy, as not all is cheaper, but their meat and bakery stuff is very reasonable.

Jelly Belly Beans 2Kg jar for £15 ***

Depends if you are on the list of companies. It still costs in membership fees (Approx £25/year) and that includes a spouse card.
I shop there a lot. Their meat is awesome meat as well! Good price and very high quality. But only if you can eat a lot of meat. It comes in BIG packs.

I can get a card through work for 25 quid, is this likely to be worth it ?

Put it this way, I can feed me, my wife and child a Jacket potato, ice cream and drink for £5.

Tyres are hideously overpriced though in the Cardiff one.

I'm going tomorrow to get a huge jar of pretzels. Omm nom.

If you know someone who already has a card then you can join them as a guest which is good as you can check out what they do and do not sell...

I've found they sell some stuff you never see in normal UK supermarkets, while there are other things that they do not sell at all, EG toothbrushes.
