yup, if his form continues you figure he's got to get young player of the year, though Wilshire has been incredibly good aswell. If Nani was in for the main award Nani and Wilshire would easily be the fairest result all around.

Got to love the commentry on the Utd game, Carrick coming on and they started going on about him finally starting to hit his top form, because......... he's basically got one great pass all season in the build up to the goal midweek. Rubbish, utterly rubbish for two years in pretty much every game, one goal that happened more because of a brilliant touch by Giggs than Carricks pass and he's back to his best.

Commentators/pundits/fans are like that, one good thing and suddenly everything else is forgotten.

Oh, and whoever said it, Baines is a crapload better than BAE, he's more consistant, better defensively and excellent delivery from crosses and not a bad shot on him either. Baines is I'm not sure about better than Cole this season, but right up with him. Yes how good the person getting on the end of your crosses makes a difference but, Baines delivery is consistantly excellent while BAE is one of those who will cross all over the place.

Also, are Sunderland actually in relegation danger this season, how god damned rubbish can they be.

I just can't fathom what it is that makes ferguson keep giving gibson a chance. He just doesn't look good enough in any area of his game.

Yes but Song, Diaby, Denilson could have great games(theoretically, yet to see it happen :p ), but off two seasons of ineptitude one good game doesn't make me rethink their form and preclaim they are back to their best, 3 non rubbish games in a row would be required before the possibility they might get back to their best even crossed my mind, even then it would be many more games(don't all have to be good) before I would consider well, it being his "form". His current form is , rubbish x 80 games + 1 good game.

I'm not saying he didn't have a good game, nor that he was improved and he MIGHT be on the up, but claiming he's almost back to his best, after one game, its painful to hear people talk such rubbish.
