Bought my Audi a3 today at 12 it was mine, back to my home town to pick a friend up since we needed to go shopping. Park up, come back after two hours to find some scratches from someone who has tried parking near me! My friend said it's at least £100 to sort out ... Fuming AND a bird pood on the car too! Rant over.

That boils my blood. Buy a ****ter to go shopping in.

Just noticed horrible stone chips on my car, black in colour though not silver but still took the paint off i think, thought it was tar at first but couldnt get it off.

Might have to try clay bar on it.

I always try and park at the end spaces, next to a pavement so only one side is at risk of being hit.

I always park the other side of the car park whenever I go to the shops, just so I don't have inconsiderate people smashing my doors in.

I always try and park next to nice cars rather than bangers as I expect they show their car more care than that of a rust bucket.

I normally fold my mirrors in so that whoever does park next to me is aware I would like them not to damage my car! I'll also try to park whichever way round would see damage to my door rather than rear quarter as it'll be easier to fix/cheaper to replace.

My car at the moment is a bit desperate. Needs approx £800-1000 of bodywork repair, namely the rear passenger door and bootlid. Grr @ local parking standards.
