Overclocked to 840 core I'm getting in game temps of 75c at 65% fan speed. Only gets into the 80s when running Kombuster, never had mine in the 90s.
Nope, haven't touched nV CP
That's surprising, mine easily hits 90c when running OCCT, and that's even without any sort of overclocking. What sort of set-up have you got as regards to case cooling?
My case airflow is pretty good. In a CM690 II with a 140mm side panel intake right next to the card, I've got a 140mm bottom intake fan in front of my PSU below my card as well as a 120mm fan mounted on the rear of the HD cage that sits right behind the card and blows air across the surface. I've then got a further 3 exhaust fans at the top of the case with a front intake as well.
