Of course you can book a player after an advantage has been played. If he should have been sent off then the advantage doesn't change anything.
Errm, apparently Kroenke is wrapping up a deal to buy 16% more of Arsenal's shares, which will go well beyond the point he would formally have to table a bid for a full takeover...........

Apparently the fat Russian guy buying another few shares getting closer to mark himself has started the ball rolling.
EDIT:- Kronke is worth 1.9billion, Arsenal are valued at 610million but would cost more than that to buy I believe though he already owns 29% or so. So thats a huge chunk of his change to invest in Arsenal, though of course his wife owns a shedload of Walmart and is worth, dunno, see anything from 3 to 20billion, and growing. I don't know too much about him, does he tend to invest heavily when he takes a club over?

Am I missing the point here? The ref can book players retrospectively after playing an advantage, so why couldn't he have punished Lehmann after the goal had been scored?![]()
I can't say I know too much about the whole thing, but I've always been a little bit suspicious of Usmanov, I don't know why, he just seems a bit dodgy.

Obviously Russian Mafia.
I thought no one was allowed to take control of our club untill 2012 or something like that???![]()
Sky sources understand that Kroenke has come to agreement with fellow shareholders Danny Fiszman and Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith to purchase their shares.
Fiszman and Bracewell-Smith both own 16 per cent, and if Kroenke confirms those deals then under stock market rules, a takeover bid would be triggered.

I thought they were unlucky, could have had a couple of penalties and Lehman was trying his hardest to get sent off.
whats with all the "couple of penaltys" , ive seen this posted on a few forums now!
If people remember the potential lehmann penalty lead to a goal anyway. so there was only one other penalty
kinda crucial as Lehmann should have been sent off anyway (irrespective of whether a goal was scored or not)
Because, despite his efforts, he didn't deny the goalscoring opportunity. Blackpool scored.

yes but then the ref let play go on and decided that the goal was enough?
