Itunes 10 Disables Aero

Is the incompatability issues between aero on win 7 and itunes 10?

I keeps disabling the aero theme when i start itunes.

Are you getting the notification in the notification area in the lower right?

If not it sounds like just how iTunes ignores Windows design principals and substitutes its own brushed metal look.

I have iTunes 10.2.1.1 on my x64 Windows 7 bootcamp install and it works fine with Aero, doesn't change a thing?

No, my Windows 7 version of iTunes is the same as my OS X version, no brushed metal, just the new style grey gradient.

Sounds like itunes is running in compatibility mode.
