I Know im not going to get an awesome tv, but im in my digs in london, and need to get a tv tomorrow.
I'd like freeview hd, 1080p and a headphone socket.
any suggestions? Im struggling to spot anything that gets me excited.

Ive seen lg 32ld490, but im not blown away by the reviews

I also require an indoor aerial, are there any good ones out there?

thanks

thats going to be a tough spec as your going to be using a indoor aerial.

i have always thought indoor aerials are pap ?

ive got a lg but not freeview hd and find it fine for my need's.

That's because they are. I know that from experience. Unless you live close to a transmitter you are going to be watching a load of squares moving around (a bad freeview signal to you)

I'd go for a Toshiba 32RV753B it you can stretch your budget a bit further. I set up one of these tellies last week for a family friend & I can say its a nice set for the price.

I just bought the LG 32LD450 for my girlfriend, and apart from a little backlight bleed its not a bad screen at all, full hd over the VGA connection, also has 1:1 mapping over hdmi and displays a very nice picture. For the £243 delivered its a steal! I also read that the gaming input lag is pretty minimal

I know Sainsbury's are doing the Sony Bravia KDL-32EX403 for £349 at the moment. I've got the 40" version, it's an awesome TV. Bit more than your budget, but it's very well featured, and has Internet TV capabilities too (iPlayer, Demand Five, YouTube etc).

If its on display in a shop - no. Its an old model & has probably been on every day since it was put on display for sale.
