Agreed, Flanagan deserves praise, not an easy debut to make and looks to be relishing the challenge, skinning Balotelli and dealing with everything coming at him, and played a sexual volley cross field pass. Him+Kelly coming through the academy and a few more by the looks of things looks good.
Hopefully we can play with this sort of tempo most games, the battering ram for the second goal was out in full force.

/cough Rafa's youth thats finally showing . But yes perhaps Kenny being forced into this is good, remember Kelly's debut against Lyon was it? Had a cracking game then got injured for a few months and followed up with another, a season later he is a beast.

Didn't use Kelly unless it was europa league, same with spearing and shelvey got a few run outs.
Mind you the fact he kept picking Koncheskey and not playing Agger at all says it all.
We just didn't suit him and he didn't suit us.

Woy couldnt manage first team let alone youth but no he didnt really use them well.
