Guess the TV programme

I've been trying to think of a TV programme I used to watch but can't for the life of me recall it.

It's fully CGI, set in space and was made about 10-15 years ago.

I think it was called Space:2200 or something along those lines.

And I believe they were fighting off giant insects a la starship troopers.

The last two clues might be confusing two different programmes, if so I'll need both names

There was definitely a CGI Starship Troopers series, so that's where you're getting the insects from. Dunno about the other series... Immediately I thought of Reboot, but doesn't fit the bill at all.

Yeah, looking at some YouTube clips one of them is the Starship Troopers series. For some reason I just thought it would have been a different universe.

That still leaves the other programme. I can't remember what they were fighting.

Is the other one definitely a tv show? It rings a bell as being a film that I can't remember the name of.

EDIT: Oops the film I was thinking of was Starship Troopers...must read full OP

Shadow Raiders? It's all CG, set in space and the enemies kind of look insect like.

You know i've heard the name of that show many times in passing, but never actually bothered to see what it was. Looks decent enough from a quick wizz through wikipedia. I'll have to check it out

Not actually CGI as it happens. It used to be on TV so late at night my memory of it is patchy

15 years ago and was fully CGI?

So that would make it '96 right?

I'm pretty sure there were no fully CGI sci-fi shows back then, unless you include cartoons as CGI.
