but got fed up with the sniper limit
was playing since the beginning of the round as a sniper and then suddenly i got instakilled because they were over the limit half way through the map, was well annoying

at minute its a bit hit and miss goons hc server has been emptyish and most on here dont like hc

the sqdm doesnt hold settings or has mind of its own (was down earlier) this has put people off it aswell.


nM one is sorted but you need people to start it off .

the thing which makes it hard is how the friends works its pretty bad or best to useless. this is why ive been playing cod 4 again a lot

Sounds like a firewall issue, what ISP and which router do you have?

i actually can play it pretty decent for such a old card 1280x1024 and get about 50 fps but cpu is at 3.7 p2 x 955 which i think is the key. this game isnt that demanding graphically more cpu.

This may/not have been answered in here before, But i've been trying to play this game for afew days now and all i get is random pc crashes, I've literally tried everything:

Re-install Game
Re-install AMD Drivers
Re-install Direct X
Re-install Punkbuster

Can anyone help me with this? My brother has a 2500K 8gb ram 5870 and he gets random stutter in this game, not all the time tho. He does not get random crashes though.

Last resort - re-install windows?

i find its mostly to do with overclock but the game is buggy. try everything at stock.

try to make sure you have the least amount of overlay programs on aswell as pb doesnt like overlay stuff aswell

If you have done that lot then windows reinstall is about the only thing left to do.

UNLESS, you are overclocking? In which case, revert to stock and see if it still crashes.

Only when you play at lower resolutions. It's still GPU-limited though.

Hi mate, everything is at stock, the only overlay i'm using is MSI AF to monitor temps and fps will disable it and give it another go, my brother is using that too, i did read about PB not liking overlay and someone tried the game without it and it still happened.

Kind of disappointed considering this game has been out for a while but no resolution to this issue.
