Who do you think is the wealthiest F1 driver?

I think he has to wear those as they sponsor McLaren. The guy who own TAG is part owner of McLaren group with Ron Dennis.

And the bonuses they get for scoring championship points.

Is it TAG who does official F1 timings of hoptlap, pitstops, etc, or LG?

I don't think McLaren pay Hamilton all that much - relatively, obviously. Maybe around £10m or so, which for a WDC isn't a lot. Most of his money comes from sponsorship and that kind of shenanegans.

IIRC if Hamilton had won the WDC in 2007 he would have been one of the cheapest world champions ever as he was only earning around £500,000 for the season.

I'm sure i saw that lewis was getting 20mil+

Kimi was on hilarious money, being paid NOT to drive last year was fantastic.

Sounds like it is Irvine, mind.

Coulthard seems to be very rich.

"Coulthard has lived for some time in the tax haven principality of Monaco, and also owns homes in London, Belgium and Switzerland. He owns several luxury hotels in Britain and is a former owner of the Columbus Hotel Monaco, which is located in Monaco's Fontvieille."

He also still gets £4m a year from Red Bull for being their 'ambassador'.

I assume this means being very publicly biased about them on a national broadcaster every other weekend.

Ye, that doesn't surprise me. Type david coulthard into youtube and there's nothing but him doing public displays around the world, mostly doughnuts, lots of tyre smoke and lots of very loud revving in a redbull car.
