Who has been the greatest frontman ever?

Another Freddy vote here.

Been racking my brain since last night to come up with someone who is even close and no one is.

The man had everything, an amazing voice, control & charisma.
 
I think in terms of performer you can't argue that Freddie Mercury had it all.

In terms of 'frontman persona' I'd rather go along the lines of Liam Gallagher, but you can't even start arguing that he had the talent of Freddie.

Having said that though I still voted Freddie :)

He ooozed sex appeal though, great voice, good looking lad and the lead singer in the best rock and roll band ever. That would do me over a moustache and vest :)

If we're talking recent, there is no cooler front man than Ian Brown :)

Me too, i couldnt stand Freddie, i remember way back the front cover of a music rag called , Sounds. It had a picture of freddie striking a pose,and underneath it said,,, IS THIS MAN A PRATT?, I would have to say in my opinion, oh yes.

Good looking bloke with long blonde hair or ugly bloke with moustache? - no contest.

Honorable mentions also go to Roger Daltrey and Gary Holton out of The Heavy Metal Kids.
