10 Incredible Insect & Spider Battles

That Bulldog ant....... you'd need an Astartes standard issue heavy bolter for something like that, failing that an exterminatus array!

I always thought the Mantis was a badass but its better suited to ambush as opposed to going straight toe to toe. I have seen a vid on youtube where it managed to kill a japanese giant hornet but it was a suprise attack and the hornet was already injured to begin with.

Japanese bug fights are entertaining whilst at work. Seen a japanese hornet vs scorpion video. The hornet took ages to die after being stung. Those things are VERY alpha!

Was I the only person that actually expected the tarrantula hawk to emerge victorious from that spider's hole? You could clearly tell the spider retreated once it realised what it was up against (else it would have gone for the kill) =/.

Having said that I hate insects in all forms - little buggers outlived everything on Earth and they WILL outlive us as well.

:/ you do know there insects right? You probably kill 100's without even realising it.

Exactly. Without realizing it. I'm not getting into some massive debate but just because they are smaller than us doesn't mean an insects life is not as valuable as a humans. Stepping on an ant cant be helped, but sticking two in a box together and watching them fight to the death for entertainment is sick imo.

To me, its exactly the same as sticking a lion and a horse in a box and watching the lion rip the horse to pieces, except people would frown upon that more.

Agreed.

Cool link though OP. Some good footage.
