Anyone else feel freaked out when going into an apple store?

yes you're right it's some what pointless as no one will be changed by what the other side says, but my post did have a point just it wasn't meant to be taken too seriously hence the tongue smiley.
however nix has said something, then bunny twisted what nix said to go against it. bunny wanted to defend apple so much he's made up what others have said
what possible reason would someone do something as silly and as blatant as that if they weren't a fan. as i said if he picks something nix actually said (without ignoring the rest of course which often happens) then we can discuss, but making it up to defend apple doesn't help.
No they aren't. They offer something different but they aren't directly better.
It's not better for me when I already have an iMac.

You bought an iMac? Lulz you could have bought an ugly PC with terrible build quality, similar specs and a completely different operating system for hundreds less don't ya know!

Regardless of what phone is deemed best, there are quite a few iOs exclusive Apps that would mean I would go for an Apple phone over an Android, Windows or Symbian phone...

Has anyone actually said or heard someone say "look at me, ive an 'insert apple prodcut' arent I cool"? I cant imagine an adult would say that, kids possibly but then thats because they are kids and 'showing off' is their life.
Apple to most people are just a brand that make things, for all I care it could be called KiddyFiddler and if it made something i wanted id buy it.

A quick trip to Youtube will show you that there are countless people just like that.
No, but they do that thing were they would sit in a really public place/coffee shop etc, and wait for people to look, or start (they would hope) a conversation about it...thats agonising to watch.
I kno what your saying..but damn the Samsung Glaxy 2 looks pretty good, been the first phone that would make me think about Driod.
Just hate the poor App stores.

how many are just doing it for the camera and out of total sales how many does this make as a percentage?
Im betting most of the vids are for show and out of the total sales its very very low as a percentage
I can only say that when I bought my iphone last September it was the best smartphone on the market at the time. Even now I would say it is the best package as far as software and hardware go.
I've said it before in another thread but I don't get all this smart phone rubbish.
My sister game me her old Iphone 3G and although it's nice and has a great screen it took me 5 minutes to wonder what the hell people see in them.
Apart from one camera depth of field app and a decent weather app, I've not found anything worth bothering with. Even when I look at others peoples Iphones they have nothing but flash type games on them, nothing of any real use. The odd calendar app. I went through the Iphone app thread start to finish and 90% of it is just games, **** all useful apps.
My crew room at work has Sony Xperia users, Samsung Galaxy, HTC desire and Iphone users and all anyone does on them is play games that aren't even as good as DS games. Plus everyone has them on charge at some point due to the shoddy battery life on them all.
No one I know uses them for anything actually useful. They might as well stayed with what they had and had a phone that didn't need charging twice a day
The apple thing is a scam of epic proportions that everyone is trying to get into and who can blame them. Quite how an Ipod touch can be £140 and a Iphone 4 £600 is marketing genius. Then you have how over priced an Ipad is, everyone is flooding to get one on the market to cash in on such mark up.
Useful depends on what you want, they are a leisure item, why pay more for a ds when a phone can do it.

The apps are far more stable than android as well because there is only three sets of hardware.
On the other hand it has downsides
No USB, no sd card, no flash. Not including cameras as I use the camera maybe twice a year and wouldn't miss it.
Why not use a phone as web browser, diary and. Games machine when out and about. Do you really want to carry a second large item around and pay for it, or course not.
Only need charging once a day if you use it heavily, but if as you say they aren't using it for anything it will last several days.

Yeah I find it pretty odd. It's all very trendy and bright and I get worried that someone will come up to me and ask me what I'm looking for. Generally I just walk in, type something rude into an Ipad for the next person to see and then leave. Stick it to the man!
Don't do it, only went as I had no choice. It was horrible experience.
