Is this fake, OcUK to the rescue...

Wow that plane wing is phenomenally strong + those engines have some power in them, it tosses the other plane around like it was nothing

Surely planes have sensors similar to car parking sensors

Why? It's not needed, they don't park close to objects like cars do, and there's a whole lot of surface to cover on an A380, you just have to accept things go smoothly if everyone listen and doesn't make mistakes like this :p

the pilot's never gonna hear the end of it
can imagine the scene in the air france staff room, "hey everyone, it's francois, give him lots of room now!"

Any word on whose fault this is?

Obviously JFK is rated (with regards to taxiway width etc.) to handle the A380. It's hard to think the A380 would have been taxiing off of the taxi line. So either the little plane was parked too far back? Or it's the tower's fault for letting both those planes be there at once?

Still, always temping to blame the French..

i find it amusing the way it just swings round so easily, considering the size of both of them
I was surprised by that too - it makes them look like model planes - I didn't think that larger stuff like planes could have those kind of accelerations resulting from collisions like that and not break! Suppose it shows how strong planes have to be to deal with all the flying stuff they do.

I wonder how many Gs the passengers/crew in the small plane felt cause the plane spun round pretty quick.
