Old asrock am2 board, reflowed?

Hey guys, just reflowed an old asrock board, plenty of flux and such, let it cool down, put in an old sempron and 1gb ram and tried to boot it, the powerpack booted first time without any parts on it but not now, the fan doesnt spin or anything, i touched the SB to see if there was any heat and actually burned my finger :O and it smells all like, "electricytcyctycy", is it worth pursuing trying to make board work, or will i end up burning myself and shorting out the components? any idea why its not working guys?

yea but i mean i wonder why its like, shorting at the sb chip, there may be some other reason that a more experience person may have

if it's wasn't dead... but it's now shorting (anywhere) it now dead

I assume it wasn't working before otherwise you wouldn't have done this.

You've either not fixed what the problem was or you've made it a whole lot worse.

it wasnt no, i forgot to state that no life at all, i reflow mobos, cards and consoles loads so i gave it a bash
