This surpasses it, both fighters have a long & rich history. I suppose you could say the same for FIFA and Pro Evo, but they aren't as universally recognized or popular.

Mortal Kombat Vs. Street Fighter would be more applicable tbh.
Especially with the new MK games going back to their roots. I always found Tekken too spammy and slow.

The soul edge/calibur series is way faster than tekken series in 3D. I like street fighter gameplay the most followed by tekken followed by mortal kombat. I agree that a street fighter vs mortal kombat would make a very good game. However they both have very different gameplay mechanisms. I find street fighter gameplay very smooth whereas mk gameplay seems dull, rusty and very static like.
Didn't realise that two games were coming out, guess it makes sense though to keep everyone happy. Is it a dual release or is one coming out before the other? Wondering if they'll just bolt both copies together in one package?
The game currently looks a little slower than SF4. But then, the beta of SF4 looked about the same, I hope they polish it up, make it flow a little better.
Wish they hadn't put music like that on the cinematic trailer. Did they not learn from the mistake of Indestructible?
Overall very hyped for this.
Last word on this was that Tekken X Street Fighter will come out afterwards, about a year.
