right i,ve been through many a headset but cant find any i can get used to
roccat kaves must be the worst i,ve had
im using the corsair set at the moment but again somit just dont feel right
i fancy the logitech ones now but can decide what one s to get
i know wired anything seems the logical route but i,ve read some good reviews of the 930's ..if i could get away from wired that would suite me better
is there anyone eho hass tried both sets and are the 930's really that good?

I have the G930s now, been using em for a few days. Great headset but the software is somewhat crappy. Hardware is immense though.

well recieved my g930's from ocuk and....the sound is amazing a deffo stepup from the corsair , it also puts the roccat kaves alongside a pair of £1.99 set from the market
well happy

neal did you have the Roccat Kave 5.1 ?
If so how it is compared to the G930?
Very interested in the G930, got the roccat now and still prefer my DR100 but want to try wireless.

Hi
tbh i hated the roccat kaves from getting them, the sound quality from the 930s is much better and dont squeeze ya head they aint as heavy and the plus is the wirless no more wires getting in the way
also i was worried about getting wireless but now seriously have have no doubts
the only downside i can see is the build quality, for the price i expected a little more..not bad ,but could be better
if your not bothered about the wireless go for the g35's as basicaly the same set

Going to air my thoughts on the G930 after owning them for a week.

I have now shelved them. I have a very large head and the headset was squeezing my head, because it has a strong metal headband that doesn't flex enough.

I've gone back to my roccat kave, the sound quality is noticeably less great. In games I prefer the simulated surround sound of the g930.

The surround sound of the kave is a bit on/off, its just not very subtle I was playing bf3 and when theres sound behind you and you turn round suddenly it loses volume exponentially.

I would still reccomend the g930, but only if you don't have a large head as I promise you that you'll find them uncomfortable. I gave them a week to "break in" and I don't think thats happened, I did think they were more uncomfortable when I first got them I think its me getting used to them.

The build quality is also very suspect, very cheap feeling plastic being used too much and the earcup swivel joint feels alarmingly fragile.

I think if logitech came out with another headset that addressed my issues they would have a certain winner on their hands.
