Took the kids to KFC this weekend (Fillet tower burger, hot wings and two pieces, nom nom) and whe we went in there were about 3 or 4 tables with trays and containers just left on the table and I saw a few people just get up and leave all their detritus on the table and walk out. Even some people with kids as well. Now i know that these places employ staff to keep the place looking tidy, but when there's a queue, as there was in this situation it meant that nearly everyone was serving and it also meant that some people could sit at a clean and empty table once they'd beens erved. I can't say i've noticed it that much before but this time it just annoyed me as people were just being pig lazy. There was a bucket on the way out near the door. Ten seconds consideration for others and everyone coming in would have been able to sit down. I bet these are the same people that would tut if they walked into one of these places and couldn't find an empty table free of rubbish.

it drives me mad to think some people are this lazy! Do you put your rubbish in the bucket at fast food restaurants? if you don't your lazy and i bet you still live at home or your GF/wife/mum does everything for you and tidies up behind you. if you do, then good for you, keep it up!

I tend to employ my "if you make a mess you clean it up yourself" philosophy in all walks of life and yes that includes McDonald's too :p

I put my rubbish in the bin. I realise they have staff who clean... but that doesn't give people carte blanche to make whatever mess they please.

This.

I very rarely eat in such places, but if I do, I clean up after myself.

Yes I do most of the time, but when I'm in lazy mode I make sure the rubbish is in the tray.

the average person who eats at mc donalds / KFC on a regular basis is either dumb or doesnt care about their own personal health (why else would you eat there), i doubt either of these types of people care about cleaning up after themselves in such a place.

i know someone who is dumb and used to eat at mc donalds all the time, after watching super size me, he switched to KFC  .

If you care about your kids health in any way, you should be teaching them mc donalds / KFC is bad and take them out to a decent place for a burger and chips/wedges. Otherwise in the future they will think its okay to eat there because their role models took them when they were younger, if you cant afford to eat out at a decent place, then have a BBQ at home, it would work out at cheaper than a mc donalds / KFC and the quality/taste would be a lot better.

I always tidy up after myself if I'm at McD's or other fast food place.
What really disgusts me is the cretins who eat their food in the car park and leave a pile of rubbish on each side of the car rather than take it to the bin 6 feet away.
