Pasted from another forum... (link)

ive got a mate whos been trying to sell his focus st for some time now, it wasnt selling in his garage so he decided to sell it privately, straight away he got interest and a young Asian lad came to look at it yesterday, bear in mind the car was up at £8500, the lad came to his house to look at it,with, what my mate thought was the intention of buying it, the lad then said "no mate im not interested" and left. He thought nothing of it and went out with his dad, to get back and find the car gone. He'd broken into the house stolen the keys log book and even forged a receipt with the invoice book from his garage.
If that was not enough, my mate has gone to the police to report it stolen, the police went to the asian lads house, for him to show them the receipt he had forged, but obviously the police wont know whos wrote it, and therefore claimed the car was rightfully his..
the next bit is just down right crazy my mate was arrested for wasting police time

and has just been let out about an hour ago
right ive just spoken to his best mate, as hes not really in the mood for talking right now tbh :/ there was a sign of forced entry an open window slightly broken, but the asian lad has claimed he has been set up in order for my mate to get the car back aswell as keeping money, with the lad having this "receipt" to the police that is proof of purchase, so have believed that the whole thing is a set up , and with regards to the bank withdrawals they guy said he paid cash which he has had saved up over time, so theres no way to trace it
ridiculous
This can't be right, surely?

That sounds like a complete load of BLEEP to me, take a handwriting sample and the whole thing starts falling to bits really dosent it.

Please star out the b word fully DM. Von S.

a break in, followed by the car stolen, by the person viewing it seems abit odd

The whole thing is odd, i cant see plod discounting out of hand on the strength of a reciept the bloke claiming to have lost its story, let alone nicking him for wasting police time.

I cant be bothered to read the thread but you got an Asian kid claiming he saved 8k in cash under his bed, thats odd for most people.
You got a hand written reciept, well what did the Asian kid search the house for a signature to match, or did he say the bloke selling couldnt write so got a mate over to sign? Hence the mysterious handwriting that dont match the seller?

Bah i dont know, i dont care and i need more coffee :)

I'm amazed no one on that forum is questioning the clearly fake story. Mind you judging by some of the replies on there they all seem to be extremely thick bottom feeders anyway.

The forum URL surely gives that away, corsa-c forum :D

on the news last year about a guy who found a black bin liner in his back yard, opened it up and there was a shotgun. he phoned the police and the police said to bring the shotgun in. as he drove it to the police station and took it to the desk he got arrested for having a weapon lol. was on bbc news about a year or 2 ago.

why didnt your friend hide his car keys in a box in a draw, and how did the asian guy know he owned his own garage to look for a recipt book?.

That's not true though is it. He called the Chief Superintendent and asked if he "could pop in and see him". He then wandered around with a gun and placed it on a desk in a police station.

Here's what REALLY happened: http://www.thisissurreytoday.co.uk/...REE-COURT/article-1626207-detail/article.html

Anyway, i digress
