Capcom love the PC. 3 new games announced today!

Yup. I would like more fighting games on both PC and consoles. This generation there is hardly been any fighting game. Saying that it would be awesome playing SSF4 AE on my gaming pc and the satisfaction gained by turning on all settings to max:cool:.

i think with all the 'retro' games coming to pc, and companies/individuals remastering some of the old classics, then there must be a market out there for people still wanting something that is more gameplay based than graphically stunning. now with fighting games, either 2D or 3D, there must be a market out there, if they can just get the game right.
tooo many FPS games are coming out with very little originality, whereas a decent arcade fighter and maybe something like fight night style boxing sim, would offer something the pc has lacked for a while.

I agree.

Since I played street fighter 2 15 years ago, I found it's fighting gameplay mechanics to be the best in terms of speed and smoothness.

I got bored aswell of unlimited amountof FPS and missed the days of 90s when there were so many different type of games and the sheer variety of games gave any gamer the ultimate gaming experience.

15 years later we have some of the most visually stunning games but there is not much variety. I have also always preferred gameplay mechanics over graphics.

some capcom games that i think would be excellent if remastered to be as visually stunning as some of the FPS games out, yet keeping excellent gameplay :

Final Fight
Marvel Super Heroes
Mercs
Commando

actaully, most of their games if remastered rather than just emulated would probably offer something the pc hasent seen for the last 5 years or more in gaming originality.

I am just so excited:D. Here is another impressive fight between evil ryu and oni akuma. Awesome finishers!!

Oni Akuma looks like a super sayian brolly lol:p.

I'd love to see a chart of this, as personally I think the number of FPS games is exaggerated. They're more main stream I guess but there are plenty of other genre releases.

This is brilliant news imo. Capcom ports have always been top quality, even if they do like gfwl, which is no big deal if they put the effort in.

Nice:cool:.

Oh boy so looking forward to them. Is the price likely to be around £30.00?

Probably less for the retail DVD if its anything like SF4 on PC it will be £17.99 or maybe £24.99 but digital is always around £29.99 so who knows. Capcom did say they are looking at doing pre-order special deals as well for PC like a buy 3 copies get 4 copies pack so keep on looking but me I will buy the retail DVD version always if possible.

Dead Rising 2 OTR, Day one purchase.

I always felt id rather be playing as frank west when playing through DR2.

Dead Rising 2 Off the Record... Win! (Hopefully)

It sounds like they're making it easier with the save system/checkpoints? It's all very well listening to feedback, but the DR save system and lack of checkpoints are a large plus point. The people who were incapable of managing their time properly and wanting a checkpoint setup should just be silenced.

I thought that they werent going to release SSF4 on the PC due to piracy.

I feel like reinstalling SF4 and playing it again now.
