Not knowing the area, I'd say that was about the right price. £85k? I'd start lower but it looks like it has been reduced by 10k already.

Unless you're really set on the place, don't let it fluster you - Estate Agents are lying scum and remember, they are also trying to secure the best price for the vendor. Up your offer by a few grand.
Lying scum doesn't go far enough. Even this isn't true, they are trying to secure the best price because they will be being paid on commission, not because they care about the vendor.

they started phoning me every day about the same properties it got boyond a joke.
i told them to stop phoning me or ill sign off with them, they didnt phone for 2 weeks and it started all over again.

Leave it til later this afternoon. If they knock you back quite quickly then I'd just say something like I have an offer in for another property and am waiting to hear back about that before considering it further.
It all depends really... if it's a house that you *really* want and would be gutted to lose then you may want to bid close to the asking price. If not, then be casual about it.
If the agents are calling you a lot then it may mean that they have a lot of stuff on their books that's not selling.

I've had agents tell me straight away that my offer wouldn't be accepted, but I've had to remind them that they are obliged to pass the offer on to the vendor. Thankfully the house I have now was bought without having to go through Estate agent scum.
