District 10 or Avatar 2?

Well according to Blomkamp the next D9 film is supposedly aimed for 2012/13, according to Cameron the next avatar film is aimed to be 2014/15 though he's planning to do two films back to back, both are planning or at least hopeful for sequels though neither have started anything yet.

Should I try and catch up with the other 8 Dstrict films before this one comes out?, just so that I know what is going on :)
 
District ninety two!? What happened to the eighty three intermediates!? :D On a more serious note, I can't wait for the District 9 sequel, I hope it will be as awesome as the first film.

Actually there's also a District 12... ;)

Also I thought "District 10" will actually be called District 13 (based on the fact District 9 was released in 2009 and District 10/13 will be released in 2013?

EDIT: Maybe it's not going to be called District 13, it seems there is already a film called that, the sequal to District 12...:confused:

Oops, yeah, District B13, either way there is also a District 13 now, so District 10 I assumed was meanto to be District 12?

They could go really cheesy and call it District 9: The Return!

Or the classic being used by Holywood lately: The Rise of District 9!
