Do you tidy your rubbish at KFC/McD's/BK?

Yes, I put my rubbish in a bin because I'm not a lazy, filthy little scrote.

I mean come on, there is a bin 2 feet from every table, all your rubbish is on a tray that mysteriously fits inside the bins opening and nearly always has a paper mat on it that easily slides off taking the rubbish with it.

If anyone considers that an "inconvenience", I will take the liberty of assuming you are a benefits scrounger with 6 kids who thinks they deserve the states money to pay for their heroin addiction because compared to the 5 seconds it takes to clear your tray working and being a half decent human being all your life must be like being asked to climb Everest in a monkey suit.

Filthy little scrote my arse if you wanna feel good about that then good on ya but deont talk about me like that because i dont want to contribute to a service iv already paid for.

Im sorry just read his posts for christ sake and tell me none of that was aimed at being a personal attack?

It wasn't that he disagreed with me, if you read my replies you would know that! I even said to him that we have different opinions and we will both accept that.

It was the way he conducted is why he got banned. He broke forum rules, end of. If you believe it is unfair then email me in my trust.

I honestly thought he seemed to have a point. Your action was a step back towards the nazi days to be quite honest. It wasn't an attack so much as a 'dig'. The kind of thing we all get now and again on internet forums.

Sure tell him he's out of place, but a ban wasn't necessary.

On topic: I always clear my litter away, but when I was abroad I noticed a lot of the locals didn't. They just left it on the table and it was the security guard who cleared the rubbish away.

Totally with you DM. If i pay to eat in a building marketed in the UK as a restaurant and pay the inflated price which they ask, then i will not be clearing up.

Care to show me something that states the staff are responsible for clearing away your rubbish? I imagine there is nothing of the sort, much like there is nothing stating you have to do it yourself.

It's called common courtesy, something that is clearly above you.

Come off it, its a restaurant. If they wish to take issue then they should do it on a case by case basis.

I would bet that if i called macdonalds management, and asked them if i am welcome into their restaurants on the basis that i am not willing to tidy up after myself, then they would still welcome me with open arms. They have staff cleaning the tables and looking after the grounds for a reason - because they expect this. Its a downmarket place with a low level of clientelle.

I always clear up after myself - I just wouldn't feel right leaving it for someone else when the bin's on the way out and it takes seconds to do.

I agree with Kyle's post above but i'm not going to start whittling on about it, it's done.

You also can't compare it to a pub or proper restaurant as there's often not places to put your rubbish without going to a staff area. If there's glasses on the table when I come to leave I try to collect them up and leave them at the bar if it's not too much hassle.

As someone who worked in a customer facing job, "every little helps". :p

Come on, you da man, show me that sign brother.... come on, im here till 10pm show me that sign.

Im willing to bend to popular opinion, show me that sign my man.

Didn't read my post very carefully did you?

The fact that the restaurant provides bins that are clearly marked for customers to dispose of their own waste in should be an obvious enough hint, ever see that in a "real" restaurant? No? See I would consider that odd.

Also it's not about "being welcome", in all honesty I very much doubt they care beyond the staff being slightly miffed and other people having to clear tables before they can sit down at them themselves, it's about people being too lazy or arrogant to spend 5 seconds sticking some cardboard in a bin.

Could easily resolve this pointless discussion with a quick call to the customer services dept to ask them if you are not welcome on the basis that you are unwilling to use the bin. Can guess the answer without too much difficulty.

probably not, my bad

This thread is hilarious.

You either feel inclined to clean up or not. If you don't the staff will do it for you and are getting paid for their troubles. If you do, great, you're helping out the staff.

Also it's entirely different from dropping rubbish in the street. There's no point in even entering into an argument over that one.

Also I can't see how DM is willy waving, that's just one more ridiculous statements in this thread.

Its as ****ing McDonalds whats wrong with you people MCDONALDS,if this is the sum total of your problems having a problem on behalf of McDonalds workers you have all had a result

I always clear my rubbish and tut and roll my eyes at people who don't. :D

Oh and Lysander's ban, what the hell is going on here lately? I know a lot of people have noticed changes for the worse here since..... well, yeah I think everyone knows.

I love that DM can't handle his drink, it makes this forum hilarious. :) (I mean this in a light hearted way, before Naith bans me! (I mean that in a light hearted way as well)).

I'm actually wondering now of the people who don't clean it up have a cantine in their office eat there and I bet they put the rubbish away at work :)

But them again I guess it's a cantine not a restaurant :p
