Whether To Buy My 6th Xbox 360...

Ive had 5 Xbox 360s and 3 PS3s since Launch. I used to sell and rebuy depending on the stream of games coming to each console, simply as I dislike owning two consoles at a time.

For years I preferred the Xbox 360 but the past 6 month has seen my PS3 get all of the love.

I feel the PS3 is still the one to keep now with many exclusives on the way and the multi-platforms starting to improve a little.

I'm now pondering whether to buy my 6th Xbox 360, only as I'm bored right now until Battlefield 3, Infamous 2 and Twisted Metal are released. I'm thinking maybe a little Halo Reach and Forza 3 may fill the void as I have missed them a little.

However it does feel like I'm buying a dying console, I mean hell, whats coming? Forza 4 will be THE reason for me buying an Xbox 360 at some points as I adore the series. Gears Of Warf 3? Maybe, but I dispise pumping so many bullets in to someone in multiplayer and not killing them, Ive never liked that about the Gears games.

So, stick with the PS3 or adpopt an Xbox 360 as well? I have sorely missed the Xbox 360 pad for shooters and racers I must say.

Not only more reliable, but much much much quieter. That alone was why my old 360 was sold and my new slim was delivered on the day of release !

Since that day my 360 has seen some good use !
 
PS3 does have a lot more exclusives. I was in a similar situation but when I was faced with a shelf full of xbox 250gb slims for £159, I gave in:D
 
Be interesting to know how much more you've spent on consoles/games, versus if you'd just kept them from the start. I simply can't understand why people do this.

eh??? with the money you have spent you could have just had them both at the same time. Whats your problem with 2 at once? so so weird :confused:
 
Ok I interpreted the thread wrongly. You havent had 6 xboxs fail, you just dont like to have 2 consoles at the same time. I'd say you might as well get both and keep them, some good deals on the slim models these days and games are pertty cheap. Get over your fear!
 
I have both and only felt the love for PS3 for the longest time! Just took delivery of a new XBOX 360 250GB Kinect Bundle for the bargian price of £220 and it's like a breath of fresh air, I got the love for both again :D
