Hi guys - XFX have offered OCUK credit for my faulty 5970
so OCUK with there awsome tech support have offered me today...

They said i can pick from any manufacterer 2x 6950s 2gb cards and to sweeten the deal even more they say they will post the cards out to me today for Saturday delivery :D

Talk about great customer support....

so guys whats the best cards to go for must be ones that aren't revision 1.2 as im hoping to unlock the shaders :D

Would the MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 Twin FrozR II 2048MB be a better option for the cooling same manufacture as above link so same support, but may need to wait for then to come back into stock which is only downside.
 
what about 2 of these : Asus ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card [EAH6950/2DI2S/2GD5]

they also come with 3 years warranty ?
 
The Asus directcu is the only card with non-reference cooling that can still be flashed to a 6970. If the Asus won't fit in your case then you just need to pick between the reference designs, Predicament's pick has an extra year of warranty over the others so that looks like a good choice.
