Was driving home on Monday night and as I came out a village to get on the A1M, the car stalled without warning and never restarted. I ended up blocking 2 lanes going onto a roundabout but luckily a police car was driving by and they helped push my car off the road. I then had to wait 6 hours to get towed home by the AA and it was diagnosed as the fuel pump as the car wasn't even attempting to turn over.
Spin on 3 days and the cars still in the garage, they've changed the fuel pump as it was dead but now the fuels getting to the front of the car but it's still not starting, and is now giving fuel relay and injector errors
The cars still under warranty by a 3rd party policy from the garage I bought it from. So far it's covering the fuel pump work but the limit of the claim is £400 and i'm starting to worry the cost will start to exceed this as the pump was £220 alone before labour, fuel and fuel filter.
