Hi All,

building a new system and was wondering if i need to upgrade the case as well.

i7 2600k cpu
Asus pro board
8gb ripjaws
Antec kuhler h20 620 cpu
120gb ssd Vertex 3
ati 5850 1mb graphics card.
I will also have another 3 hdd in it and a powercore card which is the length of the motherboard.

Just wondering if this cpu cooler will fit into this case.

The reason i'm going watercool is because i'm wanting all my ram slots as i will have 8gb ripjaws and want to put another 8gb later.

i'm also wondering as you can see the psu is up at the top and there's a intake fan just below it. Will i need another fan on this case to cool all the other parts.

thanks for your advice and help or will i need to upgrade my case.

you shouldn't need too upgrade your case as it has a 120mm fan at the back, unless you actually want to upgrade your case then there is no need

Ah thanks antran so it just goes over the fan. Will my system still be able to keep cool with this on it? I have space on the top panel for a 80mm fan do you think i should buy a fan for that?

Oh just notice i spelled radiator wrong Doh!!

yea, I would recommend you get another fan for the top panel to extract much heat out as possible.

I have 2 140mm fans mounted to the top panel extract the heat out.

Opps, didn't read your post properly.

Where are your hdds located? if you can relocated them to the 5.25 drive then you'll have a better airflow of cold air through out your case.

Ah yeah i maybe could put the hdd's in the 5.23 bays are there any mounts for this?

Also would it be better to get another fan and do a push and pull on the Kuhler.

take a look at the Scythe Hard Disk Stabilizer x4 and a extra fan on the radiator would help.
