Am I crazy to want more?

Stop trying to provoke a response with your "2 year old" comments. You and everyone else in the thread know its such a stupid remark as to be deemed not even an argument.

Well it is implied that people are jealous of him having a so much younger wife, when I'm not as that would mean I desire the company of a 2 or 14 year old, using either physical years or half my age respectively.

He could have said he was happily married to get that point across, bringing up the massive age gap smacks of nothing more than bragging. *shrug*

Wait, you have been with your gf for 8 years, and she is now 26, so that means you hooked up when she was 18 and you are double her age so you were 36?
No, she is about half his age now, not then so...

26 x 2 = 52 (His current age)
52 - 8 = 44 (His age when he "got with her")

So she was 18 and he was around 44...

!!!!!!

But when you hit 44, you wouldn't turn down the opportunity to smash some fresh pasty, I'll bet! :D

Haha! :D I hope I would, otherwise I would feel like a sad old geeza. I am a bit creeped out by large age differences, especially if the girl is 18 (so still a teenager). I'm 27 and wouldn't go out with anyone under 20 TBH. I'm not one of those guys that think as soon as a girl is of legal age she is immediately a target for pasty smashing. I'm sure I'm in the minority though, and eagerly await replies of "Gay TBH".

Look at it from the other side though, if you had an 18yr old daughter and she brought a 44 man home to meet you, how would you react? I would kick **** out of him tbh.

a friend of mine went out with a guy in his late 30s when she was about 18 (as was I) - she had messed up dady issues and was good fun but a bit of a train wreck.

There are exceptions to most rules but it strikes me as odd.

I'm 36 and my wife is 35, we have similar life experience and expectancy!
