Thermaltake Frio mounted vertically (exhaut pointing upwards)?

I was wondering whether it's best to orientate the exhaust fan of my thermaltake frio to point upwards toward the 200mm case exhaust, rather than the 140mm rear exhuast.

Would this be a good sollution for optimal cooling, or would the heat from the GFX cards rise into the intake fan of the heatsink?

Has anyone here mounted their CPU cooler like this?

Any help would really be appreciated!

I would imagine it may be better blowing from bottom to top if you only have fans sucking air in at the bottom of the case. If you have intake fans around the 5.25" bays then I'm guessing having them face the Frio directly with the air exiting the rear of the case would lead to better temps.

I think it would be something you may need to test within your own setup, but I doubt it would equate to much difference either way.

I think optimal cooling would be front to back for most people.
But nothing stopping you trying it.
It would make any rear fan useless though I would have thought and I remember a test from a long time back where the rear fan had more of an impact on case temps than roof fan, but it was a few years ago :)

Yeah, there is only one intake fan on the case. It's located at the front and at the bottom.

As long as there isn't much of a difference, it doesn't bother me. I just wouldn't want the hassle of taking it off and changing the direction.
