Got a few kids playing football outside the house just now, have been on and off all week and a few times i've noticed the ball hitting my car. Told them a few times not to play outside the house but they don't seem that bothered.

What would you do?

Find out where they live and play football outside their house with all your mates, making sure to hit thier parent's cars several times. When said parents come out to shout at you, just say "Annoying isnt it? Control your ****ing kids!"

We were all young once, they shouldn't be hitting your car but they could be doing much worse.

If i got caught hitting someones car with a ball when I was young I knew about it. Can't do sod all now. Once took the ball off some kids next thing I know the police are at my door telling me to give their ball back as it was theft. They had zero interest in the criminal damage they were causing to the cars in the street. They'd have been interested if i'd raised a hand to one of the little bathcurds.

Maybe speak the there parents or move yer car a little? Nice to hear kids playing football instead of causing real trouble.

both my cars are in the drive.. at least its the older one thats mostly hit. I like the kicking a ball of their parents cars idea.

Fair enough your cars are in a drive way so tbh no reason they should be hitting yer car if they are on the street unless they rarely bad a football. Only thing you can do really is speak to the parents then :(

set up a webcam pointing to them showing them causing the damage to your property and email the police with a link to the stream with the line - crime : together we can cut it.....and see if they do anything other than probably brand you a sex pest for filming kids.....oh wait that wont work will it.

I've found in the past that most people don't like to be confronted about their kids behaviour, and it usually just causes problems. A nice anonymous call to crimestoppers would be better, get them to have a casual drive down the street and have someone with authority explain to the kids, and perhaps even their parents.
