So I ordered some clothes online, at the time of order I had the cash to pay for it. The company takes about 2-3 weeks to process the order, get the clothes in stock from the warehouse, they don't charge until they ship. Payment was verified and it was all done.

Some emergency happened a few days before the items shipped so had to use up nearly all my funds in my account. And so have no cash to pay for the items. I emailed them and got this as a reply.

"We are sorry all items/orders cannot be cancelled by customers once order was placed.

Order 6273774 will keep processing. Payment has no problem on our side since your credit card issuer did authorized the transaction amount.

Once again, thank you very much for your continued support of *******.
"

So yesterday I got an email saying my order has been shipped :s

What exactly is gonna happen now ?

There is not enough cash in the account to pay for it. I checked and my account has stayed the same. Where do I stand legally?. I did tell them to cancel the order as I no longer have funds available.

your free to sned the items back within 7 days giving no reason of why you want to send them back.

distance selling regulations......

thank you and good night

You'll go overdrawn and get charged a small fee plus a little interest.

It happens, deal with it.

Ring the bank and ask for a temporary overdraft to stave off some of the charges

Its a korean site, I think DSR is only within the EU ? They accept returns but the thing is they only give back the money as store credit, I'm not even sure my account allows overdraft, nationwide flex account, I remember trying to apply for one but they rejected it. Never been in minus before :S

Do you have any friends of family you could ask for a small loan? Explain you just need it to shore up your account to avoid charges against you and that you'll pay them back once its all sorted.

you could speak to the bank and let them know whats happening

they might help youll never know unless you ring them

Talk to bank about overdraft, loan some money from friends/family, start managing your finances.

Worst case, wonga.com?

Absolute worst case though... only loan the amount to cover it and make sure you can afford to pay it back. Unless the charges you will incur are less than this though?
